All safety spectacles are produced according the Regulation (EU)  2016/425.

 

Prescription safety spectacles models:  020,  021,  022,  023, 024,  026,  029,  033 036, HMR2000,  HCR 2000 meet the standard EN 166:2001    protect against impacts according to classifications  EN 166 S and EN 166F : EN 169 : EN 172

Models 005,  007,  009  meet the standard EN 166:2001    classification EN 166 F

The products are designed and produced for protection against impact of particles which might damage the eyes.  The products are designed and produced to ensure comfort and optimal protection during work.  The  products  are tested and approved for protect against impacts according to classification EN 166 , EN  169 and EN 172.

Concerning  Proteye models: 005, 007, 009, 020, 021, 022, 023, 024, 026, 027, 029, 033, 036 HMR200, HCR2000.

The safety spectacles are designed and produced to ensure perfect fit.  The lenses used all come in highest optical performance class 1.

The safety spectacles  should not be worn when:

higher impacts are involved (see lens markings).

In environment with fine dust

While work with hazardous chemicals

While work with harmful radiations and harmful light e.g.  laser beams.

Specific eye-protection is recommended.

Please replace lenses/spectacle every two year or replace immediately when damaged.

The safety spectacles should  be worn all times during work, see instructions for use.

Incorrect use or misuse can cause eye injury or damage the eyes.

Cleaning and disinfection

Cleaning

· keep the spectacles well clean; rinse your spectacles with water and use only non-aggressive, common hand soap* or water if any.  Proteye recommends liquid hand soap TORK or similar products. Than dry with soft, non-linting cloth to clean the spectacles;

· if cleaning does not clear the lenses: replace the lenses/spectacles immediately;

The TORK liquid hand foam soap (article 520800) is dermatologically tested and proven soft for the skin and is harmless for  Proteye frames, -frame-parts and - lenses.

Disinfection

· disinfect the spectacles with a low level on alcohol based disinfectant (PT01).  Proteye recommends the Tork foam soap alcohol based disinfectant or similar products.

· don’t use strong chlorous or acidic materials, this might cause damage to the product.

The TORK foam soap based disinfectant  is highly effective against problem organisms. Prevent contact with your eyes.  In case of eye contact,  rinse the eye for at least 10 minutes with water and contact your physician.

The Tork foam soap disinfectant ( article 520800 ) is harmless for Proteye -frames,

The safety goggles are for general use,  like machining ( turning, milling etc.) , grinding,  precision mechanical labour, demolition ( breaking, chopping etc.),  chemical industry and laboratory (non-hazardous chemicals),  maintenance ,  DIY  works (domestic/around the house labour.

Models:  020,  021,  022,  023, 026,  029,  036, HMR2000  protect against impacts according to EN166: 2001  classifications EN 166S  and EN 166F ; EN 169 and EN 172
